A Simple Summary Of Our 4TH KK Caroling Season

First of all,
Greetings to you all in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. As the conductor of the caroling team, I wanna say GREAT JOB! to the entire members who took part in the carolling. On behalf of the members, We wanna say THANK YOU! to the officers who had organised this successful caroling season, and the SAME goes for the parents who had helped us with our transportation throughout the caroling season....

SUMMARY:
  9 Dec(TUESDAY) 2014
We started by gathering at SHC in the early hours of evening. We did some vocal warm-ups and had some training for our FORMATIONS!! As time went passed, there were more caroling groups coming in, preparing for the night. After we were blessed by the priest, we begin our caroling journey. I think we only had like 4 houses on the day, so it was fine. Best moments, i think it was eating ice-cream and red eggs at Isaac's house. INTERESTING Night!

  10 Dec(WEDNESDAY) 2014
This time, we gathered at CMI in the early hours of evening! We did some vocal warm-ups and took attendance. After we had our opening prayer , we head off in what will be a long journey because there was like 10 houses around the Kepayan Area. Some juniors keep asking how many houses left.... , I think because they were getting tired. Well, we did had a great time at the last house, which i think was Junior, Natalie's house. It was a wonderful opportunity for the Juniors & Seniors to bond and have a blast! WONDERFUL Night!

  11 Dec(THURSDAY) 2014
As usual, we gathered at CMI in the early hours of evening. Same routine. We spent most of our singing at City Mall. We did around 8 shops , it was absolutely exhausting. We did have to shift our formations because of some TIGHT and NARROW angles.Well, the last house was pretty far, it was Nicholas's house. It was certainly worth the long ride as Juniors have their fun inside while Seniors have their fun outside! EPIC Night!

  12 Dec(FRIDAY) 2014
The last day of the Gaya Christmas Celebration(GCC), We all gathered in front of The Hotel Mandarin Area around 5:30pm. Some of us was quite late due to heavy KK traffic. After taking attendance, we had our dinner at the famous Chicken Rice Shop. It took us a while to get tables, but I think everybody enjoyed their dinner. After that, members each had around 10 minutes to explore and see the busy stalls and shops. Then, we had to go on duty, Some of us was in charge of stage donations and others of street donations. ALL for the well-being of CHARITY!. We almost lost our breath because of singing for nearly 2 hours. As time went passed, we realized we had one more shop to go. After finishing there , we were treated with an abundant of food and drinks, u can call it a late night SUPPER!! By the time we got back, it was already 11pm!!! EXHAUSTING Night!

  13 Dec(SATURDAY) 2014
As usual, gathered in CMI , same routine. After a little stumble in the early beginnings due to heavy weather, we were still able to reach the houses in time. I think we did about 5 houses on that day. Best moments, I think it was at Senior, Daniel's house. Getting to sing and chat with our former Sgt. Clement who is studying in FRANCE!! After that, we reached our last house of the day which belongs to our Junior, Christian's house. We had a great fellowship and a great time. But the fun didn't end there, some of the Seniors and Juniors had a sleepover there. After wash up, the Juniors went to play outdoors while the Seniors just stayed indoors. As time passed, it was LIGHTS OUT! FUN Night!

  15 Dec(MONDAY) and 16 Dec(TUESDAY) 2014
On Monday, we gathered at KK High School, On Tuesday, we gathered at CMI. Both in the early hours of evening. After taking attendance, the journey STARTS! I think we did about 10 houses each night. It was tiring, but at least all the houses were located around Taman Khidmat. Everyone chatted and laughed on the bus to keep ourselves occupied. Well, the last houses are always the BEST! FOODS, DRINKS AND CHIT-CHATTING always keep us going even though we are tired.
GREAT CAP OFF TO OUR CAROLING SEASON!

THAT'S IT. In advance, HAVE A JOYFUL CHRISTMAS :) and A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! :D
